About the Trails End Log Church

Trails End Log Church will be “The World’s Largest Log Church” and it will be located at the end of the Oregon Trail in Oregon City, Oregon.

Trails End Log Church will commemorate the story of the faith of Christians who traveled the Oregon Trail to Oregon City, Oregon, and draw attention to the Northwest’s Christian heritage.

Pastor Joe Wardlow did not expect the task, but during a prayer time God softly told him, “Build me a church”, then reassured Joe with “I will show you what to do.” Joe understood it was to be a log church on Beavercreek Road in Oregon City, with the assurance that “When the doors open, it will be full.”

So ‘build’ is what Joe is all about. Purchasing the property is the most immediate need. Funds to the non-profit organization called Trails End Log Church will come from:

  • direct donations
  • several crowd-funding campaigns
  • grants
